SUMMARY:Industry 4.0 Innovation Boot-camp
DESCRIPTION:The “EURA” European Jean Monnet Centre of Excellence on the Regulation of Robotics and AI is pleased to announce the 1st edition of its “Industry 4.0 Innovation Boot-camp”. The Course will be held at the Sant’Anna School of Advanced Studies (Piazza Martiri della Libertà\, 33\, Pisa\, Italy) over a weekend\, from November 28th 2019 to November 30th 2019\, for a total of 24 hours. \nThe Course is addressed to engineers\, computer scientists\, lawyers\, consultants\, practitioners\, policy-makers and entrepreneurs\, and will provide participants with a broad understanding and technical knowledge of the numerous challenges and opportunities raised by the emergence of robotics and AI. \nIssues of liability\, insurance\, and risk management\, product certification\, and technical standardization\, intellectual property\, data protection and privacy-by-design\, innovation management\, technology assessment\, as well as current trends in advanced robotics and AI\, will be covered. \nThis will provide those that research and develop new applications\, and those that intend to use them\, with the necessary understanding of the impact of existing and emerging regulations that might influence their research\, daily activities\, and strategic choices.
