INBOTS, will propose a regulatory & risk management framework for interactive robotics that will be develop from the starting point that will emerge from the debates on the existing ethical, legal and socio-economic barriers around robotics . For this aim, INBOTS will identify the existing regulatory framework within Europe applicable to Robots, assess its effectiveness and desirability, establish a dialogue with EU and national policymakers and promote, where necessary, legal reforms aimed at favouring the proliferation of a strong European Robotic Industry, while ensuring highest levels of safe and high quality design, consumer protection and responsible research and innovation fostering the fundamental rights of EU citizens.
